Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival April 15-24 2011
The TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival is a 10-day annual celebration of snowsports, music, arts and mountain life. The Festival is held each April and includes pro ski and snowboard competitions, free daily concerts, film and photography exposes, family activities, free ski & snowboard demo days, a dog parade and a skate zone plus some of the best spring skiing and riding on the planet! This years festival was like a never ending blast, just amazing..!! So hi 5´s to all in the party crew including Uffi, Schmecken, Mike Mc C, KJ, Vera and all the other random party people we met through the nights..!! To bad my partner in crime could´nt join us… But there will be more sailings fore Captain Älgamo…
We did sum Drinking, snowboarding, drinking, spa with massage, drinking, good food, drinking, hip hop concerts,drinking, night clubs, drinking, hot tubs, drinking…etc etc.. A hole lot of fun..

420, 4:20 or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) refers to consumption of cannabis and, by extension, a way to identify oneself with cannabis subculture. The notable day for these is April 20.
The term was allegedly coined by a group of teenagers in San Rafael, California in 1971. Calling themselves the Waldos, because ”their chosen hang-out spot was a wall outside the school,” the group first used the term in connection to a fall 1971 plan to search for an abandoned cannabis crop that they had learned about. The Waldos designated the Louis Pasteur statue on the grounds of San Rafael High School as their meeting place, and 4:20 p.m. as their meeting time. The Waldos referred to this plan with the phrase ”4:20 Louis”. Multiple failed attempts to find the crop eventually shortened their phrase to simply ”4:20″, which ultimately evolved into a codeword the teens used to mean pot-smoking in general.

On April 20, thousands of people gather up around the stage located on the foot of the mountain of Whistler to celebrate ”420″. The police do not attempt to make arrests. This event has taken place in Whistler annually for many years, and the police are generally tolerant of all marijuana use on April 20.
This year Dilated Peoples and Lyrics Born had the honor to be on… So me and Viktor went there to check it out! And yes, it was sum pretty good music
Then later at night we met up with my old buddy Mike Mc Crimmon. Went straight to Garfinkels night club to continue the celebrating. Classified was on stage… Sat down in our private booth sipd Champagne nd draaanks all night long just crusin… just left the table for either the bar, bathroom or smoke brake… no dance floor.. Super fun night fore shure..!! Oyeah..!!
