Mega Weekend in Björkliden

So damn many people who will be there for the weekend, all with different characters and wonderful knowledge. We decided to take advantage of it to the max and will now run a four-day event up in Björkliden. We start on Thursday and ends on Sunday afternoon.

Thursday:

Airijoki & laserwave comes to Björkliden and warming up for Black Bear Open with live music. Thursday evening will be a solo concert by the fire down on haunted Gammelgården. On Friday join the rest of the band and the laser wave climbs up on stage at the bar Rallaren

Friday:

At 16:00 Friday, April 15th it will be fully set with Play & Spray
The whole thing will be an open session where all snowboarders can join. We will have at least four sharp features which make everything from a high ollie into a fat surf spray to a random control of the ”shred or dice” dice.

Saturday:

Welcome to the 2011 O’Neill Black Bear Open in Björkliden. As in previous years are Gälka Warriors in place and build an off-piste slope style-arena where creative lines rewarded! The area is varied with steep skiing, chutes, drifts, corners o other beautiful natural will which makes for a really creative shredhelg in Björkliden.

Sunday:

On Sunday we have a catski ready outside the hotel to take us 10km up the mountain to Lokka for våffelbuffe and quarter pipe session. For more information on the riders meeting.

En helg att minnas, sjukt pepp, grymt crew på ett berg som visar att de kan leverera åkning i världsklass. Tack så mycket Idre och megachefen Bönne för denna gång, vi ses igen nästa år. Helgen gick i Shred Or Dice tecken, sjukt kul där man fick plocka fram nya tricks från bakfickan. Ser fram emot Björkliden där tärningarna skall rulla igen.
